I have been shopping at the Manger since 1983 and have always been able to find the perfect gift, I have ordered from this store and I cant beleive how fast they actually get the books I buy, I always receive them in a couple of days. I just want to say thank you to Bryan for doing such a great job and keeping such wonderful helpful employees in the store. I am so thankful we have such a wonderful store here localy and dont have to go to Reno to shop. Thank You!

to ms pollys.....I happen to work at The Manger and I have no Idea who you talked to, but we always go as far out of way as possible to help our customers. FYI...I'm usually the one sitting, I have a bad back and cannot stand for long periods of time, and I was probably entering new product and training a new staff memeber that day. Bryan will be very upset to hear the things you had to say to us, but I will pass the review on to him. We try to get you the best prices possible, and will go out on a search for almost anything, but if I remember correctly, you didnt know the author, series title and only a partial book title, there isnt much we can do with that kind of info. I had located some books on Amazon for my son. I thought I would go to a local store rather than buy online. When I walked into The Manager, there were 2 other customers in the store. I found a (female) sales associate sitting at a counter on a stool. I asked her if she could help me. NOTE: She did NOT approach me! When I asked her if they had the book I was looking for , she asked who the author is. when I told her I didn't know, she said she couldn't help me. Maybe the girl at the counter can help me when she's finished with her customers. Alrighty then... So I went to front counter and a very nice girl helped me. She informed me that they did not have the titles I wanted. She said they could order it and I would have it in two weeks. Now, my question to you, owners of The Manager, Why in the world would I want to PAY MORE, WAIT LONGER and be TREATED BADLY just so I can support local business? These stores are going to have to learn that we consumers have other options now. BTW, I ordered from Amazon and had the books on my front door less than 1 day after I ordered.

Cons: Very poor customer service
