Left hand, here's the Right Hand, Right Hand here's ... Where did the Left Hand go???

by akelvin at Citysearch

It was strange to see positive reviews about this doctor I must confess my confusion. I found their office someone average and lacking any warmth. When it was apparent that my son had nut allergies it was almost impossible to get the office to properly write the prescription so that 2 Epi-Pens could be allocated so that his Day Care would have one and I would have the other one. It took me faxing, calling, and re faxing to get the problem resolved and when the next year rolled around I faced similar difficulties. It just seemed to me that the staff wasn't relaying everything to the Doctor or visa versa, and that one staff member would fail to leave a note so that the staff member that was suppose to take care of things the next day would have a clue, but no. It's disappointing, but based on the quality of care available in Reno not surprising.

  • Pros: Once in the office things seemed average and on par.
  • Cons: One you leave the office you're on your own.

My daughter also has an allergy to Nuts. Dr. Colletti prefers to refer his allergy patients to a pediatric allergist. Due to the seriousness in nature Nut allergiest are better monitored by a specialist.

I'm sure both Krista & Patrick Colletti would be happy to refer you.

Not even in the door and very skeptical...

by ChellieV at Citysearch

I couldnt get an appointment for my newborn daughter for a month... because they dont consider her a newborn... because my water had the audacity to break in California and she wasnt born at the hospital here. A month for a newborn... rediculous. I also had to call the number 4 times before I got past the busy signal... they must not have many incoming lines. The woman I spoke to was snippy and rather unfriendly... so i made an appointment for next week with another pediatricians office... if i like them... why bother with this >.>

  • Pros: Dr. Recommended by coworker
  • Cons: Support Staff/Making an appointment

No appointment

This office does not accept military insurance. (Tri care). I find this disrespectful to our members in the military and their families.

Great pediatrician - if you can get in!

Very hard to get an appointment for new patients - it took a few months on the schedule, but worth the wait! "Dr. Krista" was great with my children, they were completely at ease with her. Friendly staff, and wonderful 'shot lady' (the nurse who administers shots - I have never seen someone give vaccinations so quickly)

  • Pros: staff, doctor, easy to get to
  • Cons: older building
