Thai Recipe was warm and inviting to a couple of travelers from Florida. The ambiance was exotic yet quaint and homey. As if that were not enough, the food is outstanding and priced just right. I always start my rating of Thai restaurant by the Tom kha gai soup. This one was remarkable. Light yet satisfying. Just a cup of it with spring rolls would have been plenty. However, I also order the Halibut. That flavor has remained with me. I only regret not having enough stomach to eat it all. I wished that I had presence of mind to purchase the cook book. If I ever get back to Tahoe, this will be the first place that I would want to eat.
