Best Restaurant – Bangkok Cuisine has the best Thai food! Very authentic! The food is always fresh, especially the seafood and never overcooked. The veggies are crisp, not like they were prepared before and just heated up. The curries are so delightful, perfect taste, not to rich. The flavors are consistent. They have a large variety on the menu. The prices are very reasonable. The portions are on the large side. We always have leftovers. The service is good. My water glass usually is filled before I?ve even finished drinking. Very nice attention to details in the restaurant. I've eaten there for over 10 years and have never had a bad meal. The perfect restaurant for all occasions!

never had a bad meal! – I love Thai food and everything I have ever ordered here has been excellent. The parking is tricky but once you figure it out...doable.

Great Reno Thai place - highly Recommended – Googled Thai restaurants in Reno and came up with Bangkok Cuisine. It had the most reviews listed. And on the whole the positive ones were accurate.

Food Great! Best Thai I've had in the US of recent years, Decor pleasant. Staff no complaints. Pricing, exceptional. Very popular. Seems like a great 'date' venue.

Highly recommended, I have another 5 days in Reno and will be sure to return.

AVID THAI FOOD LOVER – very disappointing..

obviously the wok/grill was not cleaned prior to our entrees being cooked...

we ordered beef pud thai, stirfried basil chicken, thai fried rice with chicken...

all to go, came up to about 35 or so dollars plus a tip, we always tip on to go's..

ALL OF OUR FOOD TASTED LIKE SEAFOOD!!!!!!PUNGENT TASTE AND ODOR...

needless to say it all ended up in the trash....live too far to drive back, plus it was snowing...

thank god neither of us is allergic to shellfish...

as a good cook and lover of thai cuisine, i know fish sauce is used quite a bit in cooking...BUT IT DOESNT TASTE LIKE FISH......

i do have to say this is what we get for cheating on our fav place, THAI CHILLI....

when i called to let them know about what happened, the owner seemed apologetic but still resisted to believe me about the flavor...i was not wanting anything free, just to let them know that it was a good thing WE WERENT ALLERGIC TO SEAFOOD/SHELLFISH....i was offered to come back and ask for him and all would be taken care of....

i may have taken him up on that if i felt he believed me......

i had eaten there once prior to this incedent, not impressed, terrible service....

dont see myself goin back again, even if its free...

ive eaten at all the thai joints in town, thai chilli is beyond the best...

being that im from San Diego / Los Angeles, large community of international faIre....i do know good thai...

Good Alternative to Casino restuarants and fast food – My boyfriend and I have been to this restaurant twice now. The first time was flawless, the second time was less good. We ordered wonton soup, pad thai and Bangkok Delight, as well as the sticky rice/mango dessert. The food was all pretty good, but I Wouldn't recommend the Bangkok delight, as it is just chicken and vegetables with a couple shrimp, and pretty bland and tasteless. The service was terrible but I don't know that we can blame the weighter as it appeared that when he would disappear out of sight, he would come out with some food. So it may be that they are understaffed in the kitchen and he was helping prepare the food?!! In any case we were kept waiting quite a bit at times. The food is good, the place is clean with a fair ambience. It is popular so there will be somewhat of a wait on weekend evenings.

Very good! – Hard to find parking, but this place is very nice. I like the Siamese hut 's pud thai better, but have had only good experiences here with their curries. The portions are very large, and the food is always cooked just right!

The Satay comes with a tiny little fire, that you can roast your skewars over. My boyfriend, and brothers have always been really impressed with it. I think it appeals to their inner cave man.

The prices are great if you go at lunch and order the lunch special. It comes with a little curry puff, on the side. You get your fill. I have never left there hungry.

I recommend the green curry, especially.

Delicious and Fiery Hot Food at a Good Price – Went on a Thursday night around 6PM. Inside several friendly white girls served as hostesses, which threw me off a bit since I am from the SF Bay Area and you never see non-asians as waiters or hosts at a Thai restaurant. However the traditional decor was very nice if a bit dark inside (although this is something I have noticed with many Thai restaurants). The two of us were immediately seated inside, and promptly a waiter came to take our drink order. Not many people were in the restaurant, however within the next 30 minutes the restaurant was packed and a group of people sat on benches inside the doorway, waiting to be seated. Started with the Thom Yum Gai (chicken soup, "Thai Spicy" heat level), which was very good, if a little different from what I usually have had. Salty tomato flavor intruded into the galanga, lemongrass, and powerful chili flakes. A lingering tingly heat on the lips and tongue remained after each spoonful. Overall I would rate this dish an 8.5 out of 10. Next up was Panang Beef ("Thai Spicy"), a red chili and coconut milk based curry with cooked green and red pepper flesh. This was quite nice, a little hotter than the soup that came before it. Delicious over rice, as it soaks up the curry broth/gravy, and not too much coconut milk to make it too rich to the palate. I would rate this plate a 9 out of 10. Lastly, the Basil Chicken (also "Thai Spicy"), which is a stir-fried dish with onion, red pepper flesh slices, and spears of long hot green peppers. Very hot dish; good! Had two thai iced teas, which were not overly sweet like some thai places, and were of decent size ($2.25 ea). Bill came out to ~$28, with plenty of leftovers for a future meal. I would recommend this place!

What's all this fuss about Bangkok????? – First time at the restaurant with my wife. Drinks, appetizer, and 2 main course dishes and we walked out of there with a $50.00 bill plus tip. Expensive night out for 2 people considering it wasn't a special occasion I think. Also I took us 2 hours to get in and out. That's ridiculous. A LOT of waiting and wondering where the waiter was, where are drinks were, and when our food was coming. My wife sat for 20 minutes before someone finally filled up her drink again. The food was delicious, but I agree with the other user about portion size. The restuarant is decorated very nice, probably to distract you as to how long you are waiting for EVERYTHING! The food isn't good enough for me to suffer through another 2 hour ordeal at Bangkok Cuisine.

be careful – Food was overpriced for the portions. Also had a party of more than 6 people and did not know they already added 15 percent tip to my bill. I tiped 25 percent in cash and when I later questioned the bill I was told about their policy.

excellent – living in reno is rough. there is hardly ANY culture and lack of good cusine makes it almost unbearable. however, bangkok thai saves the day! My boyfriend and I are regulars and have ALWAYS been impressed with the food and the service. they remember our order each time, which is fantastic. The Thai flat bread (rotee) is amazing. They are alway there to fill up the water. Which is definately needed if you order a 3 star and up for spiciness! anyway, great place all around. so glad reno has something good to offer.
