Visiting family has never been so enjoyable!.
Our son and his family live in Reno. Their house is a bit small, and we try to not to disrupt their busy lives too much. We have tried the casinos, which are not enjoyable, we have tried other hotels not a good idea.
Wildflower Village offered a very quiet experience. We had all we needed to make simple meals and a nice spot outside our room to eat.
We even met some nice German travelers staying in the hostel. The staff was very helpful and the owner pointed us in the direction of places to eat and even where we could rent kayaks! We had a great time with our grandkids and were able to stay longer and spend more time with them, having our own space. Truly a diamond!
Whatta Let Down!.
I have never been so DISAPPOINTED as I was recently. This motel and its staff FAILED to inform me that it would take all day Saturday to get me fresh towels, bath soap and kleenex.
The staff did not inform me there was no maid service on the weekend's until Saturday afternoon. Nor did they tell me of no telephone's or cable TV in the rooms until I checked on Friday afternoon. I was completely taken back by the lack of accomdations for money.
