My favorite sushi in Nevada Woo Chon. Having moved from the bay area California, where good sushi is not hard to come by, I found myself in search of a restaurant that could quench my desire for GOOD sushi. I have sampled many places in Reno and some in Vegas, and I have to say that Woo Chon is my favorite. The quality of fish is way above average, the service is friendly, and my only complaint is that every once in a while your drink can go empty if you are not in the center of the restaurant or bar. Their selection of rolls is great, and sitting at the bar becomes more and more of a treat the more you come back. For me it has gotten to the point where the chefs will offer me strange and exotic concoctions (that I didnt order) almost every visit. I have not had anything except their All You Can Eat Sushi becasue you can have almost all the Sushi items, so i dont have an opinion on their Korean menu. Their number is 775 825 2552. Oh, one more thing, if you are going in a group larger than 4 make a reservation, the candiedapple01 person was not kidding.

It's not bad.. I had sushi and Korean food at this restaurant. Well...the food didn't taste that bad. I just dont' think the food there is nothing special and memorable. But the memorable things that I experienced were that the stuff and owner were so nice and the atomosphere was very cozy. They just made me feel like I was at home. But the thing is that the food wasn't that great. If I want to eat Korean food, I rather go to Sushi Boat.

Great sushi and creative variety of rolls. I have been to this restaurant a few times on the recommendation of a friend and each time the food has been excellent. The first visit was with a group of about seven people; the restaurant is small but they were very accomodating and the owner was very friendly. On my second visit, she even remembered my name! Staff is attentive and the ambiance is nice--cozy, intimate, friendly and casual all at the same time. I usually get the all-you-can-eat and the chefs fill my requests for staple nigiri as well as offer new rolls to try, most of which taste great. Try their signature Woo Chon roll!
