BEST DEAL IN TOWN!. CANNOT believe all these negative reviews I am reading! Harrys is the absolute best deal in town! We looked at several lots in town that were all complete rip offs with crappy vehicles. Harry's has the best selection and their vehicles are in great shape...I should know...my husband is a mechanic. They warranted both the vehicles we bought and gave us a great deal. Harrys doesnt do a lot of bargaining because their prices are ALREADY low low low. I priced vehicles for two months so don't tell me otherwise. Harrys worked with us when no bank would at a decent rate. I would bet these negative reviews are from people who had their vehicles repossessed or didn't check the vehicle out BEFORE buying. BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY BUY YOUR NEXT CAR AT HARRYS!! and NO I am NOT an employee..I am the satisfied customer driving the 2006 H3 in there every month paying my bill!!
Con Artist!. I can't believe how much these people are willing to F**k u over for just a few bucks! Got a Van, Tested it for a little then they insisted I should buy another Van that would give me more savings. I got denied by the bank, Then they said I still can get the Van, but through them. I tried to lower the payments and down payment After a power struggle I was willing to come to a agreement, But desperate at the time for a vehicle for my family. Took it home to have the brake almost give out. Took it back just to have them get mad at me and blame things on me. Then after giving me hell they took it for a day just for them to do nothing to it, I ended up returning the van to have them threaten me and say they will report it as a repossession. Having already lost money already and I have already return the van, they still attempt to take another big amount from my bank account. They also went as far to get money from my insurance company? Really!.I have always been a very positive person. But by far this is the worst place in Reno! at tears for the way they have treated me. I feel robbed, lost money :,( and I just feel there is nothing I can do. I'm really so sad about this whole situation. If this is going to help someone by giving my testimony please take the time to read other reviews on Harry's All of the reviews are bad. Lesson learned. They honestly don't deserve that one star, but had no other CHOICE!!
STOLE MY MONEY!. I HAD NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO GIVE THESE SCUMBAGS A STAR TO GET THIS POSTED! THEY STOLE MY MONEY! GAVE ME A CRAP TRUCK THAT ENDED UP DYING OUT IN THE FREAKIN STREET WHILE DRIVING IT HOME WTF! AND WHEN I GO BACK TO GET IT LOOKED AT THEY TOOK IT FOR ONE DAY, ONE WHOLE DAY AND DIDN'T DO CRAP TO IT! I TRY TO RETURN IT AND THEY SAID SORRY IT'S YOURS, AND YOUR NOT GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK. AND THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAVE TO PAY OR THEY WILL SUE ME. WTF! IM SO PISSED SO I GAVE BACK THAT SHITTY TRUCK AND THEY SAID THEY WILL REPORT MY CAR WAS REPO WTF IM SO PISSED! AFTER I RETURN THE DAYNM TRUCK THEY STILL TRIED TO PULL 1000 DOLLARS FROM ACCOUNT AFTER I ALREADY RETURN THE DAYNM TRUCK. WTF I DIDNT EVEN HAVE IT FOR MORE THEN 2 WEEKS. THEN TO MAKE THINGS WORST, MY INSURANCE CALLED AND SAID THEY TRIED TO GET 600 DOLLARS FOR MESSING UP THE TRUCK WTF THE TRUCK WAS ALREADY MESSED UP. PLEASE I BEG YOU. this is by far the worst business ever!!!!!!. Can i give a negative 5 stars? Yes that bad!!!!!!!I Bought a truck from there and i have spent 2000$ in the first month on repairs. They fraudulantly passed the truck on its smog and i got stuck with fixing it amongst other problems. I was debating on getting the law involved and still am, this definately needs to be put to a stop because I know i'm not the first and certainly not the last. If you are reading this before going to this car lot, stay far away!!! Damn it i cant believe i have to give it a star!!!

They were very nice when my husband and I came in with a nice chunk of money to put down on a SAFE car for us and out 2 kids. We found a car that we liked, and the SRS light was on, they told us it was something to do with surround sound system. We thought that was odd so we looked it up and its our airbags and what not. So now if we get into an accident our air bags wont work because of that. We decided to take the car to a shop to double check it was not just a code they forgot to clear. There in fact IS Something wrong. When we brought it to them with proof of that. They tried to deny it but LUCKILY the salesman told the mech that yes we told him the srs light was on when we bought it. WHICH IS ILLEGAL BY THE WAY TO SELL A CAR WITH THE SRS LIGHT ON. They were very rude. They basically told us to go home and they would talk to Harry about what THEY want to do. In the mean time I am driving around with my 3yo and 1yo in a car with no safety system. I wish I would have seen all these horrible comments before we bought from them. We are in the process of filing a complaint and if they do not want to actually FIX it then its court time.
HARRYS AUTO IS THE WORST IN EVERY ASPECT. 4 STARTERS I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN NOT 2 GIVE THEM MY MONEY BECAUSE THE CAR WASNT EVEN THE ONE I SAW IN THE PICTURE ONLINE THAT THEY SAID THEY HAD 4SALE- BUT I WAS IN SUCH A HURRY 2 GET ANOTHER CAR I JUST WENT WITH IT- I HAVE HAD MORE PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR IN 2 MONTHS THEN I HAVE WITH1 CAR IN 4 YEARS- HONESTLY I DONT HAVE THE PATIENTS 2 SIT HERE AND REALLY SAY EVERY DETAIL , THEY'RE SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS....VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DONT CARE WHAT THE F*%$# THEY SELL YOU OR THE CONDITION ITS IN....HARRYS DOESNT EVEN DESERVE 1 sTAr IN MY OPINION....2 BAD BECAUSE I COULD HAVE BROUGHT THEM GOOD BUISNESS...INSTEAD IM GOING 2 TELLL EVERYONE HOW SCANDALOUS THEY ARE AND DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF....

While I thought the manager was a nice guy and worked with me somewhat on an adequate payment solution, the salesman knew about the AC/Heater unit being intermittent and not working properly. It worked when I test drove the vehicle and then within a week it started not working. I asked for a CARFAX at the dealership and they said they couldn't provide one. Later I looked up the vehicle on CARFAX myself only to find out that they had already known about the previous service issues with the AC/HEAT unit. They would not fix the problem despite being within 30 days. It has now cost me over $2400.00 to fix. Take the car to a friend who is car savvy or another mechanic before ever buying from Harry's.
On another note, a really old couple's car was broken down in our building parking lot and I asked if I could help. Unfortunately, I was unable to too; however, after talking with them for several minutes I turns out they bought that lemon from Harry's only a week earlier.
worst used car dealership in Reno. Anxious to make a deal. Pressure. When you have credit problems, you look for help, not to get screwed again. First they showed me one car and worked the deal, then they came back and said they couldn't do that deal on that car, that I had to take a car that was 4 years older...hmmm....then I told them that the other car was making sounds and needed some work. That's no problem they said, just take it now and come back in a couple days and we will fix it all. I brought it back and to my surprise the sound was CV boots that they were well aware of before I left the dealership. Even though they said they would take care of it, it now became my problem to the tune of $300. After already putting over $2000 down on the car and not getting the car we had originally agreed upon, I tried to get out of the deal, but they said I had purchased as is, where is. They will do anything to get you out the door with one of their pieces of crap, but don't expect anything from them after the sale. Avoid them, they are crooks.
know what to look at before you shop. Our experience at Harry,s was positive. The sales rep Roberto and his manager John worked with us to keep us happy. It is very important as a buyer to know how to check a car out. We found a few faults with the car and they agreed to fix the most serious and I would take care of the rest. As a buyer; you need to do the inspection and not expect the dealer to know everything about a car bought at auction. They did not try and hide anything and were courtious and cooperative and honored all agreements. Thanks Roberto and John
HARRYSAUTOMALL IN RENO !. THE ONE STAR RATING IS BECAUSE I HAD TO IN ORDER TO POST THIS! PLEASE READ MY FULL TESTIMONY, PLEASE DON'T LET THESE PEOPLE RIPP YOU OFF!!!!!!On March 25, 2010 my husband and I were told to try Harrys auto mall, we went onto the lot and began looking at cars with Dennis, seemed very nice(but arent they all at first?) He lead us to a 1999 Chevy tahoe for 9000.00 total, $3000.00 down and 275.00 a month, we sat down and I statred bargaining, He comes back with a final...how convenient, they lowered the asking price(which to me was all it was worth) 7969. total..2500.00 down and 255.00 a month...Thats better! right?..well then I question tax to D.M.V, being around $600.00 which was told to me by my best friend, who's sister bought a car from them and had to pay this large amount to register her car in California (since we are California residence) I wanted to be informed and what we will payout before we even begin with monthly payments, another guy (name unknown, small skinny dark hair and works in the back of the office to the left) tells me there is no such thing as such high tax, I didnt argue, I simply picked up my cell phone and called D.M.V, Dennis then left the room, walked into the skinny guys office shut the door and within minutes they stormed the room like F.B.I agents, telling us the deal was off, HARRY just informed them, they are not selling cars to California at this time, and none of their cars are to go across stateline because Harry ACCUSED D.M.V OF "DOUBLE DIPPING?......However my best friend the SAME DAY got a call from Fernando telling them he wants to make a deal on the car they wanted (THEY ARE CA. RESIDENCE AS WELL!) We spent 2 hours bargaining and starting to sign all the paperwork before we were told to kick rocks! THEY ARE RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND I FEEL THEY ARE DOING UNDERHANDED CRAP! I SPOKE WITH A D.M.V REP AND YES WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY STATE TAX, PLUS REG. COSTS WHICH WAS ALL LEGIT!!!! ...THIS ALL CAME TO ABOUT 600.00, BUT HARRY AND HIS CLAN WILL TRICK YOU AND TELL YOU THERE IS NONE! THEY ARE LIARS!!! THEY DONT ADD IT CAUSE THEY WILL GET MORE MONEY AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED MORE!!!!...Not to mention there was a button cap broke off of the electric seat, no bigger that the tip of my pinky, when I asked if they would fix it, dennis said they could but our price would go up! WHAT! They are CON-ARTISTS AND A SCAM!, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!!!
