Nice Hotel and Casino.
This hotel and casino is really nice. I came here with my family for 4 nights and we had a really good time! This hotel is connected to the circus circus and the el dorado hotels, which gives it that big Vegas style feel. Personally I like coming to Reno because there is less of a crowd and the service is much better. While i gambled i was never left without a drink in hand, the waitresses came by frequently and knew what I wanted! It was a great vacation. The rooms here are really nice, older but nice. We were able to get joining rooms with our family which made things so much easier. I will come back and I will for sure stay at the Silver Legacy again.

Vegas style accomodations in Reno..
Reno is no Vegas, but this hotel gives it a vegas feel. Casino is centered around a mining contrapation in a large dome which is used to advertise upcoming events. Multiple bars, including a rum bar which has nightly events like bingo, beer pong and dueling pianos. Other bars have weekend make your own bloody mary bars and girls drink free hours. Hotel is not super nice, but casino makes up for it, especially compared to others in the area. Pool area is small but on a higher floor and has some great chairs for lounging around. This casino is connected to two other casinos so if you want you never need go outside. Lots of dining options. Wide variety of slot machines.

Nicest Casino/Hotel in Downtown.
Great customer service, good drinks, clean & updated decor. Lots of activities and conected to Eldarado & Circus Circus. Downside - tables have high minimums, not for the casual gambler.

Gamble here !.
This is the best casino in Reno. It has the classiest decor and the most craps tables (my favorite). I walk from here to Eldorado and Harrah's Reno.
I also like the second-floor concourse that links the Legacy with Eldorado and Circus Circus. The restaurants are pretty good, much better than Peppermill.
The rooms are dimly lit, though, and I am bothered by the train whistles, which affect all the downtown hotels. The room rates are not out of line - just avoid the peak weekends.

expensive and depressing.
THe caasino was fun, but the room was expensive and dowdy, and not very comfortable.
