Bad Experience with Cabinet Trim Falling Off. We have some very high-end cabinets installed in our home by Root Industries. A little bit over 2 years after we moved into our new home a small piece of trim fell off the cabinets in the middle of the night.

I called Root Industries, spoke to John Overton-General Manager, and his response was the cabinet work was past its warranty. Really, I didn't realize trim was a warranty item that was ever to fall off?? For $65 they would fix it as a service call. 5 staples for $65, that is more than $12 per staple/nail.

I am not going to be using this contract again. Very dissatisified with a company that won't stand behind their work, but plays the 1 year warranty card.
