very helpful. I had grown very pessimistic about my wedding dress search after trying several different shops in Reno and Las Vegas and barely being able to try on anything. I wasn't very open minded when I arrived at Blue Garter, but the staff was helpful and had a variety of dresses I could try on. It was such a good experience and there were several dresses that were possibilites. I had my mom come to visit to see my choices and even though the store was busier then my first visit, the staff was still very attentive. I bought the dress that day and I am very happy with it. I would definitely recommend this place!

Loved them!. I had been to several bridal stores in reno and sparks, including david's, a beautiful bride, alfred angelo and others. I tried on at lease 6 dresses in each place but couldn't find what I was (and my mom) looking for. Finally we decided to go to Blue Garter and we were treated like royalty! I picked out several dresses that I thought would look good and what I thought I wanted. After a few misses the sales clerk (Heidi) asked me what my "theme" was or what I had in mind. I told her Marilyn Monroe, so she went our a picked out a dress for me that I never would have picked myself and it was gorgeous! Once I put it on I knew it was "the one".

All in all the experience was lovely, Heidi let me keep my dress on for at least an hour while she helped my mom pick out the accessories.

They are very reasonably priced, super friendly and made buying my dress easy and pain free.

I also liked that I didn't have to schedule an appointment to try on any dresses.

Not very compassionate to ones feelings. I wasn't happy here at all. They had some very pretty dresses, I would have purchsed or even tried on, however the girl at the counter was rude and put me down for my size, she said I should try somewhere else. Apparently she thought i was too fat, or not of her class. She made me feel like Julia Roberts felt in that store in Hollywood, You know in the movie "Pretty Woman" Not to mention she had nothing but negative remarks to say about the other wedding stores in town.

Above and Beyond!. After visiting all of the local bridal shops, and in California we came back to Blue Garter. We loved the shop's selection of gowns, and the customer service! Cindy does not keep the dresses in bags, so you can feel and view them. My daughter found bridesmaid's dresses online, so Cindy ordered those for us. When I was looking for a Mother of the Bride dress I looked everywhere. I ended up mentioning to Cindy that I didn't have a Mother of the Bride dress. She let me look through different catalogues, and then ordered my dress. This happened July 2005. My other daughter is getting married October 2006. We are ordering our dresses through Cindy! I am going to miss Cindy! She treats you like family. I recommend this store to every bride. If Cindy does not have something that you want she will order it! Thank you Cindy!
