We ate at several restaurants in the area during our stay. This was by far the best! Great food, atmosphere, service and price. Try the roasted garlic appetizer

Jason's did well at seating our party of 9 in two booths. Has the Hamburger with blue cheese and bacon which arrive swiftly and good.battered French fries were nice and crunchy. Even separated our checks for us to make paying easier!

Nice variety of meat options (i.e. steak, chicken, shrimp, burgers, fish, etc.). The salad bar was pretty well stocked and fresh. Our food came out quickly, the waitress was attentive, and we enjoyed our food. Bonus points were scored for having Ninkasi beer from Eugene OR (can't just buy that at the store in CA). The atmosphere was woodsy and comfortable. Lots of families with kids it seemed. Parking was a bit of a pain, but when is parking easy around Tahoe? Would suggest to those who love a good burger and a comfortable, non-fussy evening out.

Try Monte's Spaghetti if available - shimp, tender fillet mignon, sausage, veggies all in there - and for a good price. Well-stocked salad bar. Friendly staff.

I can't WAIT to come back here! My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way back to Sacramento because we were looking for something we'd never had and something with a view.

I LOVED this place so much! The woodsy vibe and the long bar were inviting. The bartender was awesome and they had some good brews on tap. The large beer is only 50 cents more than the pint, too...such a deal!

I got an epic veggie burger with pineapple and swiss cheese. It was seriously the best burger I've had ever. EVER. My man loved his burger too, but I forgot what it was that he ordered. All I know is we'll be back for another huge, delicious burger and beer!

This place is one of a kind, the staff is super friendly and provides great service. Quality food, and a great location, on the lake. Can't beat that!

I'll be going again for sure! We were in the area visiting and stopped in for lunch, The entire staff was very pleasant and seated us right away. Our service was prompt and spot on. The food was really good. Between all of us at the table, there was a variety of soups, burgers, garlic bread, drinks and pie. The consensus is the Bleu Cheese burger beat out the Russian burger. Although you really can't go wrong.

The whole place was clean with a welcoming atmosphere. If we lived in the area we'd be at Jason's often. Until next time, I definitely recommend going in for some tasty American food.

Lake front with beautiful view of Lake Tahoe: inside seating (limited views of the lake) and outdoor seating with heaters on the patio with comfortable sitting regardless of the temperature. We ordered dinner that included a visit to a very nice salad bar and fresh baked bread. The chicken teriyaki with mango and pineapple was excellent this came with choice of potato and veggies: green beans with squash. My husband ordered shrimp/scallops and pasta in a cream sauce: lots of pasta and little seafood. Excellent meal and excellent service. Avoid adding the salad bar the entrees have alot of food. Expensive but worth the price. Food was prepared wonderfully: great chef.
