Best Salon in Reno. I moved to Reno last year and prior to that I always had my hair done by the same person (over 20 yrs) so this was a big change for me. After alot of research and consultations I tried JENNA at salon Platinum and let me say this choice was a winner. I have my hair cut, colored and highlighted and everytime I leave Jenna's chair I feel like a million bucks. I have never had to wait any longer then 5 minutes past my appt. and she has always taken her time with me,I never feel rushed. She listens to what I want and delivers. I feel lucky to have her and would reccommend her to anyone. Keep up the good work Jenna and please don't leave. I would hate to think that I had lost another great stylist.

..I'm not sure how anyone could give this place 1 star... Jenna and her crew of professional stylists are some of the most talented around, and this is made clear by the parade of satisfied clients that can be seen here on a daily basis.
My hair can be difficult, but Jenna, the owner of Salon Platinum, has a knack for getting it just right. I've been going to her for a year now and her talent as a stylist has NEVER let me down.
Any popular Salon is going to be crowded, and as we all know, sometimes things can take a little longer than expected... but on the bright side, you can rest assured that even if it does take a little longer, it's only because the stylists here are taking the time and making the effort to make sure its done right.
Horrible Treatment. I have been going to Jenna for a little over 2 years. I used to be real satisfied with the cut and color she would do on my hair. Then after she opened Salon Platinum, things started to change. I’m a teacher and would rush right after school to make sure I was at my appointments on time. Every single time, I’d wait 20-35 minutes for her to finish her previous client. Never got a phone call to say she was running late. I also would ask her to fix a “ledge” that made a weird layer in my hair. She would say she couldn’t see what I was talking about, but it’s been there for over a year. She would also sell me products that I love, little did I know, they are half the price elsewhere! So, the main reason I no longer go to this salon is the treatment I received the day before my honeymoon. I once again, made sure I was on time to my appointment. Jenna, as usual, was still with the previous client. After waiting for about 20 minutes, the manager came to me and said Jenna is leaving because she is ill. That’s understandable, but she couldn’t find anyone to do my hair. I went to my friend’s salon, and she said the “ledge” in my hair was a result from the way my hair dresser would cut my hair! This all happened about 4 weeks ago, neither Jenna, nor the manager have called me.
