Very standard alarm system that covers the basics. It’s a simple security system but a little expansive compared to the other home alarm providers. It’s a very standard alarm system that covers the basics: i.e. a keypad, window and door sensors and motion detectors. The motion detector doesn’t work too well with Pets, so the false alarms are a bit high.

I love what I got. The alarm system that we got is acting good. I have not yet experienced having false alarms and it's been with us for a year now.

I am impressed with the one I got. I don't know why some says they encounter false alarms.

Its keeping my daughter safe. My daughter is no longer scared to sleep in her room, knowing that ADT is keeping her safe.

Sooo Frustrated. So frustrated! Just signed up with ADT two months ago...a week ago we arrived home to find the police showing up a half hour later. There was a problem with our home security system and police were dispatched - when we called ADT they said they tried several times to call us. We did not have any calls from ADT. After speaking to several managers, they confessed that they called but it went straight to voicemail since the alarm triggered phone to be off. Their policy is not to leave a message but if they know that the alarm will disarm phone, this policy sucks! Today i forgot the alarm was on and opened door by mistake. I went to disarm the alarm but no call from ADT. Spoke to them and they said that since we disarmed the alarm within 120 seconds, there was no need. I responded what if there was a burglar with a knife to my neck? We told them that this policy didn't work and they replied that we are stuck until 2012. So let me get this straight...they do not provide service they are supposed to and i have no way of getting out of contract?

Safe as always. I decided to get ADT a few months ago after increased crime in my community. I called on a Tuesday and the installer was there on Wednesday. I had a few false alarms as I got used to the system, but the staff was always courteous and nice to me, no matter what!

Disgusted. I am so disgusted with ADT right now, if I would have

been notified that they merged with Brinks/Broadview I

would have found a new company earlier. This orning our alarm starts beeping at 5 am saying that we have a communication problem. They will send someone out on Thursday, excuse me no I want this fixed now. So now they tell us switching phone providers has caused this problem, we switched 6 months ago and we are just getting notified now that it is not working, so apparently it has not been communicating with them for 6 months and I have been paying. I asked that they tell me when the last time I activated my system? They could not tell me that, only the last time it went off. Okay so if you are monitoring my home, why would you not call and tell me that the system is not communicating. Been a customer for 13 years and I now do not feel safe in my home because they are not monitoring it the way it needs to be monitored. Thank god I put my own camera systems in and not their camera system. I just wasted $240 on something that was not working, and now they want to bill me $90 to come out and fix this. Company is a bunch of crap. They are out to make money not help you feel safe.

better secure your possessions. I have my new ADT Security system installed. My sister suggested ADT and so far I am exceptionally happy with the service. I would say that when it comes to home security and safety of our family and our possessions it’s better to check for the value you get for your asset. It’s better not to take chances with things which are inimitable.
