Reno >South Tahoe Express
My trip from Tahoe to the Reno airport was a complete disaster due to management. First they did not calculate the number of people correctly and had to swap from a small van to a full bus. This delayed the bus 50 min. from our pickup time. Once we were loaded and 20 minutes out side of Tahoe the bus driver was told to turn around and head back to Tahoe because he missed 15 other people. All of us on the boat pleaded that he did not turn around because we would all miss our flights. He turned around and headed back. When he turned around he blocked on coming traffic and created a dangerous situation. Once we loaded the other 15 we knew that all of us would miss our flights now and we were scrambling with phone calls to airlines, connections, pickups. It was awful and very very upsetting to everyone. We even called the head supervisor of South Tahoe Express and he had no apologize or offers to pay for the inconvenience. They made us feel like luggage to toss around. I will NEVER book a shuttle with them again and highly advise anyone reading this to find another shuttle service.
Rent a car instead. The worst customer service you can imagine. They do not refund so if your flight is a few minutes late or you change dates you're out the $27 bucks. If your flight is late by seconds, they're gone regardless of a call to let them know of the slight delay. Rude drivers and even ruder staff. Rent a car. It'll be worth the money not to use this shuttle service.
