Best used/rare books in Reno. I wanted to sell some books and found Dharma Books at 11 N. Sierra (across from the parking gallery, behind Riverside Theater ,facing 1st St.).

I called and spoke with the owner at 786-8667 , she said anytime is a great time to sell books. Dharma Books is an incredible and fascinating bookstore. I looked around while the owner priced my books. Every bookshelf / section had great one of a kind (non-fiction)or classic literature... The owner is very nice and let me know that a third of what a book will sell for is what she pays!!! I took in 2 boxes and got over 100.00 ( so if the resale of a book is 30.00 you get 10.00 today)----I was so happy that the books I know longer needed will find a new home (and the money was great too). I looked at several sections--zen, yoga, travel, poetry, and philosophy... I bought a couple books for half of what I would have paid at B&N or Borders (and they look new)... I can't wait to go back. I love leaving a store with more money than I came in with (this was the second time I had sold books). Oh, and the bookshop smells great too.
