Exception chain and worth going again and again.. Sort and sweet. This is the only restaurant I have ever given a 5 star rating. I should note that now over time I have dropped that rating down to a four star. Still good, but not perfect.

I have eaten here more than 100 times and only had two disappointments. Coming from a demanding SOB that's saying something.

The two times I have had an issue with the food, the management has been right there and took care of it professionally and with humility.

The food is consistent and nearly always perfect. The service is exceptional, even on occasion to be so good that you would think your in an exclusive restaurant. Sure there have been so so wait staff, but never rude or displeasing.

The wait time is a bit long during Sunday brunch, but even with overworked cooks and wait staff, they pull it off so well and make the wait worth it.

One item I have to suggest is the Spinach dip appetizer. Its always a comfort and delicious.

Cheerful staff and delicious food. I highly recommend for breakfast, although I have dined here for lunch and dinner too. They have a great menu for all times of the day. I usually get a french toast dish. They orange flavored french toast is great! They have wonderful pasta dishes too for lunch and dinner. The decor is fantastic. New Orleans style and French (obviously). It is a large restaurant with a lot of seating areas. Sometimes there can still be a wait though, especially for breakfast and lunch I have observed. They have a comfortable and sunny seating area for those who are waiting for a table, and they usually offer coffee or water and a cookie or pastry type of food to hold you over until you get to eat your real meal. The customer service is always good and the employees are always cheerful. A great place I must say again, expecially for a chain-restaurant. It has a pleasantness that you might only find in a local mom and pop type place.

Atmosphere rules at this French New Orleans-themed spot that serves traditional American fare.. In Short
Decorated like a French country bistro with jazzy New Orleans overtones, Mimi's Café was named after a lost love of Arthur Simms, who started the restaurant in 1978 in Anaheim, Calif., with his family. The ambience could only be upstaged by the menu filled with traditional American favorites. Breakfast includes omelets, waffles, muffins and fresh-squeezed juices, while lunch and dinner feature comfort-food classics like pot pie and pot roast, deli-style sandwiches, burgers, pastas, steaks and salads.
