Banke: Legal Speeding in Reno!.
I don't know when George Banke moved his Racing Works to Reno, but I can guess why. Reno, NV probably lies in the path of wherever shifter kart racing is headed. This guy knows his racing. Whether over land, sea, or air, George knows how to get you there faster, smoother, and with slightly less effort! I should know, I've been riding one of his bicycles for over fifteen years, and been first on the podium with it three times.
I knew George when he was building race bicycles, and am still the proud owner of a custom bike he built after spending much time with me, my measurements, and watching my riding style. It's still the best piece of sports equipment I've ever owned or ridden nearly twenty years later. George Banke brings a lifetime of racing experience to any project that makes it into his Racing Works. His track and shop experiences include partnering with late motocross legend Wyman Priddy in the early days of the sport. I can remember George explaining to me how the pulse on a two-stroke single is reflected along the length of the expansion tube, and how it could be harnessed to the engine's (and thus the rider's) advantage. His expansion tubes were the best looking AND most effective that I've seen to this day! George didn't imagine the math for the dimensions in his head, he actually did it! It's truly amazing when you are lucky enough to run into a true craftsman like him, and walk away with a product that has real value, performance, and brings years of enjoyment. George Banke is a true racing-engineer who can deliver an above pro-level product to the athlete and competitor. Only problem is: you got no excuses after that. It's all in your hands.
