Worst place, food and service. If you are looking forward to enjoy a good indian veg food, don't even think about this place. We went there on saturday noon, and decided to take buffet. It was worst buffet of my life. we had to wait for 15 min after taking the food to get the naans, food got cold by that time. they just had 2 people for taking orders, serving and payments. So, obviously service was bad. Food wasn't good. They had dal, kadhi, mushroom, and mix veg. I don't think it is sufficient choice. They didn't even have good amount of crockery. There were only few people, and we have to wait for bowls even then. To make things worst, i saw a hair in the naan. When i complained to the waiter, he quickly took it away without saying anything!! They seems very rude in talking. I am not going there in my lifetime. Go at your own risk.....
Good Basic Indian Food. I went to this place based on good reviews on citysearch. When my boyfriend and I went to this restaurant on a Saturday night around 7 pm, we were unsure about going inside because it looked like it was completely empty. It is located in a strip mall. The interior looked basic and bare. It is much larger than it appears when you first walk in. We sat down and within minutes the place was packed! We were both surprised at how empty it was at first. A good sign that the food is good and authentic is that the majority of guests (maybe 60% or so) appeared to be Indian families. The place is well lit and bright, but does not have much in terms of decor, just clean and bright, if not slightly tacky. But if you want basic Indian food, this is definitely the place to go. Plenty of parking. Very casual, good for families/children.
Awesome lunch buffet.. They have this very affordable lunch buffet with great food. Naan was made fresh. Garlic naan was very good, but the best thing ever is this dessert that they made. It's like a mango lassi with chunks of mixed fruits. I don't care much for the mixed fruits, but the mango lassi was the best I've ever had (and I both love and eat lots of Indian food). It was smooth, rich, and mangoee mm mm good. Makes me want to take another trip to Reno...
Great food, friendly service!. The staff was very friendly, and the food was great. If you would like your food made "Indian Style" they will do that too, you just have to ask. Very flavorful dishes. I have eaten at many Indian restaurants across the US and this is one of the best. I would love to have their Chicken Korma recipe! Any chance guys?
India Garden. I have been going to this restaurant for years and I have never had a bad experience. The food is wonderful the staff is kind very helpful. The food is always served beautifully by course...Very romantic!!!
Worst Food! Total waste of money! Never again. This place has WORST FOOD. We ordered chicken biryani, palak paneer and nan. The chicken biryani is more of vegetables and less of chicken pieces. I have never seen broccoli in any Indian vegetable biryani itself. But here you see that also in chicken biryani. For that matter we have never seen vegetables in chicken biryani. And even the taste is horrible. (Well how can it be with lot of broccoli and so many other vegetables). And the nan, its very very dry as if it was made the day before. Dont mention about the palak paneer. The worst indian food we ever had. I have never given ratings or reviews to any restaurant before, but after visiting this place I really felt very very bad that I started giving it. One of THE WORST INDIAN restaurants we have ever been to.
