What happened to Hiro? Service and food not to par!. I have been eating at Hiro Sushi for the past ten years. Though I can say that my recent visits will be my last. The service was a joke. To the point that my partner was convinced we were on candid cam. I can no longer justify the price for the quality. Yea you won't leave hungry, but you will leave with a fish film that is sure to last in your mouth the rest of the night. Sorry Hiro, but I am driving the extra ten min. to Incline to eat at Yoshimi.

love this place for the past 15 years. I guess the guy that left hungry didn't realize that he could have gotten the all you can eat sushi!!! you would NEVER leave hungry. I have been going here for the past 15 years ( ithink) and it's the BEST. sometimes it's hard to get seated.

Great sushi for Tahoe. I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy my meal at Hiro Sushi. I did think the price was a bit high for the quality, but you are across the street from Lake Tahoe, so I guess that adds. We had our baby with us and she was welcomed by the staff. I think if we went back without her, we would do the all you can eat at the bar which is a great value! It is not the best sushi experience i have had like in Vancouver, BC, or San Francisco, but for it is the best I have had since moving to Lake Tahoe.

Very Disappointing. I was surprised to find the menu too small and could not find one roll with shrimp in it. That wasn't too bad, considering it was a small restaurant, but when the rolls came out I was surprised to find only six small pieces instead of the usual eight. The rolls were very plain with minimal sauce on only one. Unfortunately, I had a huge appetite that night and was hoping to fill up on some good sushi, but the rolls weren't cheap, and I didn't want to pay full price for more small, plain rolls featured as specials after I ordered my first round. I left hungry and upset that I had paid that total for the small, unsatisfying sushi portions. As for a credibility check, I've worked at two sushi restaurants in the past, and I'm always excited to try new sushi places. This one, unfortunately, I would not recommend.
